Harmet’ s new production unit is the largest one built in 2017
There will not be any construction of logistics centres or their expansions planned in 2017, the biggest of its kind built will presumably be Harmet’ s modular house production unit in Harku county, Kumna village, states the market overview by Uus Maa real-estate bureau.

According to the Statistical Office 291 072 m2 of closed net area was granted use. The number will remain smaller in 2017 (ca 200 000 m2) compared to record breaking 2016 but despite that planning and active building will also continue in 2017.
Real-estate that was granted use divides roughly into three categories: built for personal use, built- to-suit and speculative real-estate. First two groups mainly include bigger production and warehouse spaces, the last group includes smaller stock spaces and stock-offices, states the market overview.

OÜ Harmet is a company based on Estonian private capital, established in 1997. Their main activities are the production of portable cabins, modular houses and metal constructions. The size of the building built for Harmet, Estonia’ s biggest producer of modular houses and portable cabins for construction site accommodation, is 26 544 square metres.
Out of buildings built for own use the next biggest are Baltic Agro’s (ca 5000 m2) building in Rukki techno park in Rae municipality where all the company’ s branches will be moved into and Combiwood’ s new production unit in Vaida (ca 4500 m2).
